Newport Girls Form Guard of Honour At SWALEC

Newport Cricket Club Girl's Section were invited to form the Guard of Honour for
the recent T20 International between England and Australia's Women's teams,
at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.

The match ended the Australians tour of England where they regained the Ashes,
however there was no win at the SWALEC, as England won by 6 wkts.

The Women's International was followed by the Men's T20 International,
again between England and Australia.
It was another win for England, who won a pulsating match by 5 runs.
The England Men's team had previously
won the Ashes back themselves.
