New Players Wanted at All Levels

Newport Cricket Club is currently looking for new players of all abilities to join the Club.

We offer cricket for everyone at all levels, including umpiring and scoring opportunities.

Newport Cricket Club runs the following Senior Teams

2nd X1 - South East Wales Cricket League (Div. 2)

3rd X1 - South East Wales Cricket League (Div. 6)

4th X1 - South East Wales Cricket League (Div. 11)

Sunday X1 - Welsh Cup, National KO, Friendlies

Midweek Team

Wed. / Thurs Midweek X1 - Newport & District Midweek League

Winter Nets

Winter nets, in preparation for the 2026 Cricket season begin 

on Wednesday, February 25th at 8.30 - 9.30pm

 Indoor sessions will be held at the Indoor Wicket to Wickets Centre in Cwmcarn 

Summer Nets

In preparation for the 2026 Cricket season 

Outdoor Nets at the Club begin 

on Friday, April 10th  at 6.00 - 8.00pm.
