Club Pays Thanks To Retiring Club Legends

At the recent AGM of Newport Cricket Club, Chairman Mike Knight Presented long serving 
Club Steward, Paul Morris with a Commemorative Trophy celebrating 30 years service and retirement.

Also Special mention was made to another Club Legend Fred Wangler 93 years of age, 
who ended his unbroken 48 year spell as Club Treasurer. 
Fred began his association with the Club in 1948 and has been an ever present at the 
club ever since, until his recent move to Nottingham.
