A group of Newport Cricket Club's young juniors enjoyed a day out watching the 
Newport v Swansea Premiership Rugby match at Newport Stadium 

The group were invited to form a 'Guard of Honour' for the teams as they came onto the pitch 
at the start of the match. The Club would like to thank Sue Williams for the invitation and for 
arranging the day.







Mike Knight, Chairman of Newport Cricket Club, said, 'It was a great day out for the children, 
they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and witnessed a very entertaining match. We'd like 
to thank Sue for arranging the day and wish everyone involved at Newport Rugby Club 
a Merry Christmas and Good Luck for the future.'
