Newport Cricket Club – Winter Nets

The first games of the season (March 31st), are only 4 weeks away – time to dust off the kit and get practising!

The following dates for indoor training in the cricket hall at the Indoor Tennis Centre (NISV) :-

Friday 9th, March (9.00 – 10.00pm)

Friday 16th, March (9.00 – 10.00pm)

Friday 23rd, March (9.00 – 10.00pm)

Friday 30th, March (9.00 – 10.00pm)

Cost £3 per week or £10 for all 4 sessions (payable at the first session). Outdoor nets will start at the beginning of April.

Dates for the Diary

The following Fund Raising events have been arranged at the Club. We are looking to purchase new mobile ground covers for the 2018 season, so help from all playing members is needed to raise funds. Book the dates in the Diary now :-

Race Nite

Saturday 17th March : Race Nite (first race 7.30pm) – a great Fun Nite

If you can’t attend, support the evening by buying a horse for £5 (see attached) – as an owner if your horse wins you’ll win a bonus prize. To help the club further, sell other horses to friends – make sure you tell:- Paul M, Kev & Vanessa, Adrian, Phil M, Alex, Mike W, Dave or Mike Knight. who has bought horses before the actual night.

Ground Force Day

Saturday 24th March : Ground Force Day (9.30am – 2.30pm)

Help to get the ground ready for the following weeks matches

Pre-Season Lunch

Sunday 25th March : Pre-season Lunch (1.00pm).

Tickets available from Paul M, Kev & Vanessa, Adrian, Phil M, Alex, Mike W
