Unfortunately, after a lengthy illness Val Mogford sadly passed away in the early hours of Saturday 
morning, February 17th. Val who was the wife of Club President Eddie, was a true stalwart of the club 
and supported the club over many years. From our days at Rodney Parade, establishing the new 
ground at Spytty Park, through to the present day, Val was always at Eddies' side, offering advice 
and support. Val will be sadly missed by all involved at Newport Cricket Club.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Eddie and the family.

2.30pm: Langstone Crematorium
