After successfully hosting last year's County Championship match between Glamorgan and 
Gloucestershire. Newport Cricket Club has been chosen to host two of Glamorgan's 
Royal London 50 over matches in 2020.

Yorkshire and Notts will be the visitors in quick succession in late July / early August.

Newport Cricket Club Chairman Mike Knight was tremendously proud on hearing the news, 
'All the hard work of last year has proved to be worthwhile with the news that we will now 
stage two Glamorgan One Day Fixtures. Notts and Yorkshire are top class teams and will 
provide a unique opportunity for local cricket fans to witness the games. 
We are all very excited!'
